The Model 70 partitioner automatically opens and inserts
multi-celled lightweight chipboard partitions into RSC,
HSC or Tablock cases at speeds to 35 cases per minute utilizing efficient servo technology that ensures positive, high speed reliability.
This efficient machine utilizes a streamlined two-step
process, operated by A-B-C's Intelligent Control electronics,
to ensure accurate opening and positive placement of
partitions into the case. The compact size and in-line
design make this partition inserter easy to install
between case erector and packer.

For simplicity of operation and easy maintenance,
this partition opener / inserter has been designed
to minimize moving parts. The partition feed mechanism
strips and opens the partition in one synchronized
motion. Once opened, a one-stroke insertion device
directs the partition into the case through funnels
that open into the case to ensure proper placement.

Positive control ensures smooth operation

|
Partition panels are gripped securely before
opening, and the grip is maintained as the partition
is opened and positioned over the case. Funnels
open into the case as the partition descends,
holding the case square for accurate partition
placement. Cases are spaced and indexed into the
machine automatically.
