Mechanical/vacuum case feed for reliable operation

The case indexing system of the Model 212 case erector uses a powerful vacuum pulldown to release each case from the stack. A mechanical slide bar transfer positively indexes the case from magazine to opening station.

Positive opening of all cases

The mechanical opening arm utilizes dual grippers to hold the case firmly as it is erected. Dual grippers hold the case from below, ensuring proper opening of all cases, even those with misaligned manufacturer's joints.

As the outer flaps are closed, a steel tongue prevents flap overlap. Cases are squared by upper and lower motorized roller-supported transfer belts as the tape is applied. Cases exit the Pro Forma 212 sealed, square and ready for case packing.
