Even low volume packagers can reduce corrugated expense and related shipping costs with this tray packer designed for speeds to 15 trays per minute. This tray packer provides automatic accumulation, packing and tray sealing for a variety of product styles into tightly packed trays that palletize with ease. Built tough, with a heavy gauge steel frame and low maintenance features, this tray packer offers the advantages of A-B-C's production-proven engineering in a compact machine.

Features and Benefits

Versatile for changing requirements

This traypacker accumulates and packs rigid and semi-rigid containers, glass and plastic bottles and jars, chipboard and shrink-wrapped cartons, composite, paperboard, and aseptic containers into display, half height and full height corrugated trays.

Gentle product handling

Numerous innovative features ensure gentle loading and smooth product handling. Harmonic motion drive is utilized to transfer the tray from loading to sealing to ensure the stability of each product load. Steel folding arms securely square and seal each tray around the product load, for tight-pack trays that palletize well. Safeguards switch the packer to standby mode if the tray or product supply is interrupted, and resume normal operation when the supply returns. Sensors monitor container feed, positioning, and tray sealing to maintain high speed performance.

Low maintenance design

A tubular steel machine frame provides stability and strength while eliminating catchpoints for dust accumulation, to maintain cleanliness for food plant requirements. All components that contact the product are constructed of stainless steel for smooth and sanitary product handling. Maintenance requirements are minimized with maintenance-free sealed bearings, permantly lubricated air cylinders, air inlet regulator, and Venturi vacuum system.

Quality production features

Operation is simplified with a low-level, easy to load tray magazine, which may be refilled at any time during operation. The magazine feeds from the top of the stack, for smooth, interrupted tray supply, and trays are transported by heavy, chain-mounted flight lugs for positive placement through loading and sealing.
